Double Trouble: Brewer’s Grade Band Reels in Two Nominations

Brewer’s Grade Band is showing America what Northwest Country is all about, and everyone is listening.

Brewer’s Grade Band has been nominated for two International Music and Entertainment Association (IMEA) Awards. Their first nomination is for Country Group/Band of the Year and the other is for their single, “Heartbreak Song”, which is nominated for Country Song of the Year.

The IMEA Awards honor and recognize the best in independent music, theatre, and live entertainment. These awards are a tremendous international distinction.

The 5th Annual IMEA Awards will be held at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky on June 16th, 2018 at 7:00PM. Not only has Brewer’s Grade Band been selected to present an award, but they will also be performing their nominated single, “Heartbreak Song”.

The band, comprised of five members who are all from the Pacific Northwest region, bring together their individual touches to generate their unique, genre-bending sound. Their brand of Northwest Country music is causing a stir across the country.

For band members Zac Grooms, Nolan Hare, Al Hare, and Cody Christopherson, this will be their first award nomination. For fifth band member, Joe Smart, this will be his second and third nomination. In 2017, Joe was nominated for, and won, the Album of the Year Grammy for his work with the O’Connor Band. In addition to their multiple nominations,

Brewer’s Grade Band will be touring up and down the west coast all summer. You can catch them at Oregon Jamboree, the Western Idaho Fair, or National Lentil Festival to name a few.
